About Me
With over 25 years of experience in Mental Health, Mabel Martinelli graduated as a psychologist in 1998 from Argentina, and pursued further professional qualifications in the area both in the UK and Spain. She worked as a psychologist for the mental health services in Oxford (NHS) in primary, secondary and tertiary care between 2003 and 2010, before relocating to Cambridge to create the Cambridge Centre for CBT and Cambridge Centre for Mindfulness.
After completing professional qualifications in CBT as psychotherapist and supervisor, she has practiced as a Module Lead, Clinical Supervisor and Lecturer for the University of Hertfordshire in their PGDip / PGCert in CBT, gaining fellowship from the Higher Education Academy.
She completed a Doctoral qualification in Counselling Psychology, further specialising in third wave CBT approaches (Mindfulness, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Compassionate Mind Therapy), receiving recognition as a Chartered Counselling Psychologist from the British Psychological Society.
Mabel Martinelli has pursued further training in the area of positive psychology and well-being, by obtaining a University Certificate in Coaching from the University of Cambridge and subsequently completing advanced training in EMDR.
She integrates CBT, Positive Psychology and EMDR into her practice, working with individuals on a broad range of difficulties, from resolving mental health problems, to cultivating personal / professional development and flourishing.

Working with adults (ranging from late teens to post-retirement), focusing on managing mood disorders such as anxiety, depression, OCD, PTSD, and addressing health-related and chronic conditions.
Applying positive psychology and coaching methodologies to fostering individual thriving and well-being.
Employing EMDR techniques for processing traumatic memories, addressing life-critical events, and PTSD.
Emphasis on values-based approaches and mindfulness practices to promote holistic well-being.
Experienced in both life coaching and executive coaching to facilitate personal and professional growth.
